The Audience Au24 is out of my budget and it seems overpriced. To spend a PC for that amount is simply insane...IMO .......

Try placing the Ceraball or symposium rollerblocks Jr (tungsten carbide balls) underneath your Bryston. I have tried it with good effect. I have the 4bsst. Sometimes, your preamp might be the culprit. .......

You fail to mention your equipment, therefore, the problem may be from your equipment or speakers. You can try using Van Den Hul cables like the "D-102 III HYBRID" or "The Second". .......

I had this player for almost a month and noticed the pick up mechanism is pretty sensitive. On a couple of CD playback, I could hear slight “stark” sound in the background. It was not loud but audible .......
