Can someone please name and provide a source for good quality UK AC plugs, the same league as wattgate or furutech. The common MK brand plugs cannot handle thick power cords ie the aperture at the bas .......

I have lived in Singapore and am currently in Dubai... In both places, the AC wall sockets take 3 pin plugs (UK standard)... All my power cords terminate using US standard plugs ie wattgate 330, manin .......

MF has stoppped making cables. I own one of their nuvista interconnencts (the dealer still has some old stock)... they are not famous for their cables though the looks, built and sound of the intercon .......

I got a similar setup. did not terminate myself but got the VDH dealer in singapore to do it for me. He just screwed them in - no solder... sounds best (imo), with the pre-amp. I use acoustic zen tsun .......

My test set was being driven by a primare 100W... at that level the speaker was controlled and seemed being driven easily. I also dont know the tech specs... they should have a website.. again if perm .......

I audtioned them while looking for a pair of speakers myself. were being run by a primare per/power and I think copland cdp.. the strength was the detail at very low volumes too. I opted by vienna aco .......

Which Piega's do you have. The alumunium series is notorious for it base (i have the P4 XL MK II and the S4s). The are too flimsy on carpets and severly restrict the choice of cable and connections. A .......

Dave I am in between changing houses and hence dont know the exact layout yet, though common to layouts here (i live in singapore), it should be a squarish room about 10 by 12. I had placed them close .......

I had switched off the amp but not the mains...anyways, after a while i plugged everything out and restarted again and it is working. I guess you have to have a full system shutdown mains n all before .......

Another alternative that I am considering is to use a passive sub (I have PIEGA sub) together with the Linn Ninkas.. This may drag it down to 40 HZ.. If it does not work, then a Beethoven.. ::: TOPIC: .......

Since your speakers go down to 30 HZ, you dont have a bass problem. Ninka stop at 50 hz.. what I like about them is the warm mid range and mellow tweater.. The reason for looking at Beethoven is first .......
