The VIA C3 on a conventional Socket 370 MOBO is another option. I've been running one in an Antec Sonata case, with a Zalman "flower" style heat sink (no fan) for about six months. Wonderfully quiet. .......

I would suggest you use the VIA C3 processor. Maxes out at just 1 gigahertz, but is more than fast enough for music processing. The guys at VIA tell me that EMI/RFI is proportionaly lower based on pow .......

One advantage of Musicmatch over satellite is that Musicmatch is programmable, e.g. you can select which artists you like, and create a channel around them. You can also load in your existing collect .......

Does cleaning the lens of a CD laser result in subtle improvement in sound? I ran a cleaner disk through mine to see if it got rid of a slight tendancy to skip (maybe one disk in ten) and lo, it did. .......

Anyone tried Harditrim, a cement/fiber composite, for speaker cabs? One inch thick by 11 1/4 wide by 10 ft, should work pretty well for small two ways. I'm using it on the exterior of a house, and I m .......
