tketcham, Good idea checking to see how far off I am from recommended. Looks like my impression of "nowhere near" wasn't accurate. Using leveling first it takes 2 turns (2.0g) to seat it all the way .......

I don't see how this is possible. I ripped the same song 9 times, changing the bit rate between rips. Plus, within iTunes the bit rate is listed as ripped, and the file sizes correlate to the bit rat .......

I own the CD82T. I did audition the CD72T at the time and could hear a difference. Not a huge difference, but audible. Sound was richer, more natural, less digital on the CD82T. As one dealer put it, .......

Actually, Stereotypes found them. Harbeth Compact 7ES-2. Not the best in terms of bass extension, but they have unbelievable midrange, are tonally balanced, and not harsh at all (which was a problem .......
