Audirvana only reads the files on your computer. Initially, it inventories them, collects metadata pertaining to the albums/songs and stores the metadata in a SQlite (if I remember correctly) database .......

One thing that should be mentioned is that the CPU core count matters. Software written to use multiple cores will rip much faster than software written to use one core. .......

I was in the same boat as you with a MK III chassis. I sanded the chassis and then applied an etching primer followed by black auto paint. It's an economical solution and the results are very good. T .......

Yes, EL34 (been looking for EL84's for a Sherwood I am re-tubing). The bias ranges from a high of 46.29 to a low of 30.92 for all tubes. .......

Thanks for the advise. Pins 1 and eight are tied together and I have a 10 ohm resistor on pin 8 to ground. The bias and HV supply were working with the VTA board until I swapped out the output trannie .......
