"time delay correction" is done in DSD without PCM conversion. Bass management however converts DSD-PCM. Source direct can be selected for PCM or DSD material. .......

I have done the A/B comparison of the 2900 vs 3910 in my home and many times in the shop I work at. The 2900 is a GREAT buy at $500 no doubt but everyone that has heard the a/b comparison has preferre .......

Take a look at these (Link below). They are line level Highpass 6db per octive filters available in 85Hz or 65Hz. Just plug thes into your main-in jacks, run your preamp out to both these and your sub .......

One thing to keep in mind with the Dynaudio 42/52's is placement. They have to be at least 3-4 feet off the back wall. I agree that the 42's should be all you need in a small bedroom. However, I'm not .......

I guess it wouldnt require to much power from the amp in the SX-1050 to power the "Powered" sub using speaker level inputs but the Amp is pretty busy dealing with the 86db 4 ohm Dyn's. Do you see any .......

The Adcom GFP-565 is a very nice pre with a good phono stage as well. I dont think you can do much better than that for under $300.00........ look on Audiogon or ebay. Good Luck! $0.02 .......

An entry level AV receiver will not like driving 86 db 4ohm loads. Can you keep the Plinius to drive the 72's and let the AV unit drive the center and surrounds? I would also highly recommend a good s .......

I would look at integrated amps or a 2 channel preamp. I believe your weak link is the pre amp stage of the 4800. Stereophile tested the 4800 and it put out over 150 wpc in 2 channel mode. $0.02 ::: T .......

I have not seen a external SACD dac except in the Pioneer Elite VSX-49txi reciever and the Denon 5803. Only then can you use them if you have the Pioneer 47ai or the Denon dvd player. I think it will .......

Yes , it can be done. But you need to make a decision. You cant have great 2 channel and great HT for under 2k. I would say if you want great 2 channel, buy a nice integrated amplifier ($1700) and a P .......

Although much different than the B&W's, I would add the Dynaudio Contour 3.3's to your list if you have a large enough room. Or maybe the Special 25's if you like stand mounters. $0.02 .......

Adcom GFP-750 can be found used for under $800. Very neutral pre. Active and passive, balanced and RCA. even comes with a remote. Thats my vote for bang for the buck pre with HT bypass under $1000. :: .......
