Have a friend who has a limited space to put his Center channel in a HT setup. Anything decent sounding that is about 6" high and 6 1/2" deep. Width can be long as it will sit on a fireplace mantel. T .......

The T-61 is a line stage and the PP1 has a phono included. Should be in your price range used and come up often. I am using the PP1 with Odyssey Mono Extremes with good success. .......

How is this different than the inline method I was using before with the 75 ohm to 300 ohm transformer and then the 300 ohm to 75 ohm transformer? When I tried to use it would not pass a satelli .......

Not sure how they grounded the sat dish to be honest. They definitely did not run a ground to my breaker box or water pipe. They may have used the existing ground or just used another ground stake. Wi .......

Good idea, but I have a dedicated line for audio/ht and a bunch of audio grade receptacles that I use that I do not wish to give up. :( .......

Well, it is functional. Not exactly fine furniture but they look decent. Should note I used flathead bolts and nuts to attach the flanges so you can move it around and the plates will stay on securely .......

Let them run 24/7. With 10,000 hour NOS tubes, no worries about 400+ hours of burn in. After that you can turn off the preamp. Your other option is to hook them up somewhere else and run other stuff t .......

I actually got turned onto these by Brian Weitzel of Tube Research Labs/Record Research Labs. They started using them on some of their own built units and included them with their mods. They work nice .......

The AQ may work better in some circuits or applications if it has filtering of some sort. Maybe borrow some other cables, or buy a 6$ Volex/Belden 19634 and see what you think. What I can tell you is .......

Power cords can make more of a difference than IC's in my opinion. In your application there were other issues besides just sound character, but decent power cords seem important for most gear. Can't .......

Dunno your price range, but CryoParts and VH Audio has bulk speaker wire that might meet your needs. I use DH Labs speaker wire and love it in a biwire configuration with T14 on top and Q10 on bottom .......

I have had the VH Audio line before (Flavors 1,2,3,4) believe it or not. :) I actually still use a Flavor 1 on my digital source. Certainly worth considering again. I sold a Flavor 4 a few months ago .......

I believe the gain suggested for this one is 58 db if I recall correctly. You can check the KAB website and use the calculator there. There are other parameters for cartridge/phono stage matching that .......

With my previous preamp and amp the sound did seem a little hot at times. The "preamp" was the preamp section of my HT receiver (Denon) and the amp was a Parasound 1000. The sound was clean and tended .......

I just picked up the MF A300 for a reasonable price on Audiogon. It seems like an extraordinary integrated amp. Very well reviewed. It is matching well with my ACI Sapphire 25th Ann Editon large monit .......

Thanks for the input. I guess I am sort of confused. The reviews on Audio Review are really high for the MF A 300, but they are also high for the Classe.(Actually most gear on AR gets high ratings it .......

The ACI speakers walk the line pretty succesfully between being revealing, resolving, and retrieving detail but still remaining smooth. A friend who is very experienced and has a lot of high end syste .......

Not sure I am knowledgeable enough to recommend anything, but the Classe preamps (used) in that price range get very good reviews. The Acurus rl-11 used is around 300 and also is well thought of. I am .......

I looked at the Parasounds and would have gotten the 850, but need a remote. My listening position is 13 feet from my rack. Getting too lazy to make the walk every time I want to adjust the volume. :> .......

Am using for both HT and two channel. Very smooth and extended highs, balanced throughout the sound spectrum, very detailed, fast, and excellent bass. Easy to drive also. I am using 125 watts per chan .......

clee- Maybe I was not very clear in my original post. My Denon receiver has a set of six EXTERNAL INPUTS (L/R front, Center,L/R rear, Sub) in the back that supposedly do not go through the DSP process .......

Near Sota- I will look into that, but when I emailed Parasound about using a passive, they frowned on it. They would not recommend any passive that might work. Not sure if they thought I was annoying .......
