That's a weird thought. What's your goal? You'll lose some money anyways. And you will be stuck with so-so cables. There are genuinely good "cheap" cables but they are not all created equal. Power cab .......

My DAC sounds better then used wide open, and it's a bit of a pain because my preamp ( a Pass B1) doesn't have a remote. I only sometimes use the DAc's volume control when watching movies with huge dy .......

There's much more to a cable recipe than just metallurgy. Insulation, geometry... etc the awfully expensive Nordost Odin line of cables only uses OFC copper, not oCC. You'd think at those prices only .......

It's always like that at shows. In my opinion, the main reason is that ultra high end equipment is much harder to set up, is much more revealing, takes more time to settle down, etc. I don't own ultra .......

I really like the B&C DE10 tweeter. I use mine on the ME10 horn from the same brand but, in a Klipschorn you might wanna check the LMAHL horn sense with DE10tweeter. .......

Horns are immensely difficult to get "right" IMHO. There are often problems such as lack of coherency between drivers, time alignment issues, directivity incoherencies, etc But when done right, horns .......

You could use Crites 3636 auto formers to match the level of the horns to the woofers. You will need to use the correct parallel resistor to bring back the impedance seen by the network to the correct .......

Yup, makes sense. There WAS a shunt resistor, but the value was not correct anymore for 3dB attenuation. And apparently (it makes sense once you do the math) the less the attenuation, the more precise .......

2.25feet is just a bit less than the actual width of the bass horn. So you are saying that if some sort of baffle was used, or wings that go right to the lateral edges of the bass horn, it would help .......

I would suggest you give the Sublime Acoustic K231 analogue crossover a try. It's a bit less flexible (you have to buy over cards with the desired slope / frequency, and are stuck with either 12 or 24 .......

It depends what "bad" means. If "bad" means you cannot do mastering work on a recording, then yes all rooms are bad. ( I exaggerate a little) All but the most extreme rooms can be made to sound decent .......

I'm biased against DSP because to me, adding a ADC/DAC conversion in the chain isn't something suitable. But then, of course, using an analogue active crossover you are stuck with either no time align .......

Most of the people I know who use it just cut the third conductor flush and don't use it, using only both silver conductors and mesh. 9$ a foot for pure silver wire isn't exactly expensive if you don' .......

Before the SR Orange, I had a HiFi tuning silver - very cheap. It made a difference in the preamp but not nearly as obvious. You could try the ACME fuses - or you could try an SR Orange if you are abl .......

I use Chinese made interconnects that unashamedly copy Nordost Odin cables (oops). I have bought two different versions; one has 8 individual conductors, one has six. All else being "equal" as much as .......

I own a Gustard A18 and keep being amazed at how good it sounds. Now if I could afford / find the A22 with dual PSU, dual AKM chip, and class A output stage... I'd JUMP on it. Must be phenomenal! ::: .......

Treat yourself with a Synergistic Orange or Purple fuse. Expensive yes, but worth it. Alternatively, Gustard (the Chinese DAC company) makes fuses for their own components, that you can buy separately .......

The new Jubilee doesn't have two 12inch per channel; it's a different design from the "normal" (previous) Pro jubilee. I believe it has a single 15inch. .......

If you wanna first try something ultra cheap, you can experiment with Diversitech EVA pads. They work really good under my subs. They are not audiophile products, but a power conditioner isn't a pream .......

I believe you'll have better results with bullet tweeters. Those you are using now spread wider than the midrange which isn't a good thing IMHO. For best results, directivity should be similar. Bullet .......
