I have been using 7.01 for the past few days. I have had no issues with either ripping or burning. I ripped 5 CDs, and that took about 7 minutes total. They ripped at around 25x. The CD took about 3 m .......

Unfortunately, there are no other options besides my current soundcard when I try the dropdown menu in the Sound and Audio Devices control panel under the Audio tab. The only selection available to me .......

While I am not going to argue that the fewer conversions the better, I will say that PCM upsampled to DSD on the EMM labs makes redbook CDs sound better than any other redbook player I have heard, and .......

If you listen to it on an EMM labs player and dac, the redbook is upsampled to DSD, so it is probably a pretty fair fight. Someone a lot smarter than I am could probably tell you why a lot better than .......

I have heard it as well. IT sure didnt blow me away, but what do you expect for 400 bucks? It sure doesnt sound anywhere close to bad, I would surely recommend it. .......

First, if you want a true universal player, I have heard the Pioneer DV45A. It is 400 dollars new and does some justice to all formats. If you want to forego DVD-A, the Sony CE775 is a nice 5 disc cha .......

I have compared the 555 and the SCD-1 head to head and there is a SIGNIFICANT improvement in both redbook and SACD playbeack. You will not be dissappointed if you do this. .......
