Hi, Cardas 11SE works well, and if you can find a pair of preowned PHY-HP or Auditorium 23 speaker cables, these are truly excellent. I use the PHY cables myself. Cheers! .......

I have not tried power cords other than the Shunyata King Cobra, Ensemble, Kimber PK14, Cardas Quadlink. I'm very happy with the TG SLVR's on my Burmester and Zanden combo, and I'm keeping them there! .......

Hi, I've owned the Auris 2's with the KM30 SAG drivers for close to three years, and I'm a very happy camper. There probably are other speakers that do some things better, but coupled to a good 45 amp .......

It is by far a lot "wetter and rounder" than the Meridian 588, which I've also owned. Used as a stand-alone CDP, it gives a warm, relaxing presentation. I'm currently using it as a transport. ::: TOP .......

The circuits 2 & 3 are intended for power amps, while 4 & 5 are for source equipment. Circuit 1 is for source equipment that needs to be left on all the time (unswitched). If you have the US plug vers .......

I've tried Siltech SQ88, Magnan Vi, Acoustic Zen Silver Reference, Van den Hul MC Silver, and Kondo KSL-LP in my system. The Premier 16 seems to sound best with the Kondo cables, so that's what stayed .......

I would agree with the recommendation to change the input tubes first. You might try Mullard or RCA 12ax7's as they tend to sound a bit warmer than the EH's. Good luck! Jovy .......

You might try any of the ff: Siemens CCa, Dutch Amperex 7308, Telefunken CCa, Mullard E188CC. One of them should be a good match. I'm currently using the Seimens CCa in my CJ 16, very transparent, ton .......

If the ATM2 is anything like my ATM3s, it will sound better with a preamp in between. You will get more width and depth, depending on the preamp you use, of course. .......

I may be able to purchase a quantity of Tesla old logo gold pin E88CC tubes made in the 70s. How do these sound, are they much better than current production JJ tubes? .......
