Not familiar with that unit but in general also unplug the AC from the wall after you turn it off. Then, if it has a power button depress it for 5 seconds or so to drain any residual memory. Finally, .......

I had an SA3 as well. Yeah, I guess they are using all 4 decks of the quad potentiometer individually. I thought maybe they were using 2 decks in parallel for the left channel, and 2 decks in parallel .......

The DSD layer is in "pit" form on SACD or hybrid discs. ET-3 optical drive cannot read that. But as an option the ET-3 can process DSD "files" from a storage device like a hardrive or USB memory stick .......

The inner wall diameter on my KLEI plugs measure 7.8mm so it is a very tight fit when I put it on any of my RCA sockets. My sockets all measure 8.2mm. I'm thinking the inner diameter of your plugs .......

It's that stubborn solder (usually leadfree) on newer boards that I've found the tiny drill bits and handheld mini chuck to be particularly useful. Especially when there is barely any room to work .......

For what it's worth, I always like to test a cable's resistance. So far I've never come across anything that doesn't measure the lowest possible on my DVM at .1 ohms. I also check for any cross contam .......

As far as I understand. A higher sampling rate just takes more samples at that given moment in time regardless whether it's a cymbal or a bassoon. Akin to different recording/playback speeds of record .......

It's not the bottom shield that has a grip on the tubes. Sounds like the unit has excellent tube sockets in there with extremely tight contacts. You may have to rock the tube back and forth a little b .......

The bottom shield does not hold the tube in. The reason the bottom shield is screwed in is so the larger top shield has something to lock into securely. The tube should pull out as Airtime stated, .......

I'm not familiar with your amp, but for my amp there should be no signal to it and idle for at least 20 to 30 minutes. So maybe try letting it sit without a signal again after listening for a few hour .......

Cardas are excellent. Note that they come with a black insulator plate with small "+" and "-" embossed on them. Depending on the situation the markings are sometimes difficult to read. But you'll note .......
