Nope. The AC line "sees" the full inductance of the CMC, what you are thinking of is the inductor CORE of a CMC, it sees only the differential current, which is only present when there is a fast spike .......

Belden 89259 is very sensitive to the RCA plug used. Use a cheapo plug that is low quality, and you get mediocre sound in some cases. Use a good quality plug, ans it can sing. Don't cheap on the plugs .......
