I run a nice budget dac (Meridan Explorer) on 8AH li-fo battery pack made by Powergen. The battery is about the size of a pack of cards and either this or something similar is available on amazon ~ $5 .......

following up on Bud Purvine's work the cap needs to be charged up in order to supply a surplus of electrons ( since they are negatively charged). So cap has to have positive to battery positive and ne .......

With your battery mod plus cap do you only attach one terminal of the cap to the battery negative or both? .......

I am about to make an IC which will connect a Centrance Dac to a Slage Autoformer VC . The dac has a phono plug like used in headphones and the AVC by their nature have a common ground or negative als .......

I have been using MOG for nearly two years. When I started then the interface was beyond crude. Still the SQ beat Spotify and the last time I compared (a year ago) MOG easily walked away the winner. T .......

If you are running MOG through a browser then Adobe flash is the problem. If you are running desktop version there is no way, IMP ,that MOG sounds worse than Spotify. I have no experience with other s .......

I picked a free membership and tried it. The catalog is pretty amazing and I would sign up for the premium service except apparently little is offered at 320kbps. See this thread on the Spotify forum. .......

I have a modest system- Dayens 30 W amp and small JohnBlue speakers. It is PC run with the computer/monitor/printer within a few feet of the stereo. It’s a suburban location but in light of the above .......
