I didn't realize Rythmik made a sealed servo sub that cost only $700. Rythmik is definitely the best. I own two F12SE Servo Subs and they are awesome. I don't think you can beat Rythmik for the price! .......

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use the de-clicker on DSD. If you want to do any digital processing you'll need to convert to PCM. However, I don't find a need for any post processing on my DSD128 .......

From what you say about speakers, I would conclude that a two-way with a subwoofer might provide the best of both worlds. Anyway, I've used this configuration and found it to be especially nice soundi .......

I don't know why everyone keeps suggesting these erroneous tests. They don't answer the question jeromelang is asking. He wants to evaluate the absolute polarity of his transport, not the polarity bet .......

I like FiiO IEM earphones for traveling. They block out external noise much better than Grado headphones. The FiiO FD5 earphones are excellent, even better sounding than Grado. Happy listening! John E .......

Well, you're right about Koetsu. I listened to a fifteen thousand dollar Koetsu for about 10-minutes at an audio show and that was all I could stand. It was just too sickeningly sweet for my taste. ;- .......

It's been my experience that the best sounding cartridges are the ones with the lowest coil inductance. Therefore, you might want to consider the AT-ART9XA with only 2.5-microhenry coil inductance and .......

Good question! I don't know. I checked my Denon test CD and I didn't see anything that looked like it would be suitable for evaluating absolute polarity. However, many of the Stereophile test reports .......

One way to test for absolute polarity would be to use a test CD containing a positive going pulse. Then you can look at the pulse on an oscilloscope while observing whether it's positive going or nega .......
