Looks perfectly normal here, even if it isn't ideal. The distortion is caused by linear power supplies that suck current only at the waveform peaks, which will cause the corresponding voltage drop you .......

You can but you'll get lossy compressed two channel Dolby Digital and no control over record levels mean you'll get dynamic range compression too. You'd probably get better results with plain 16/44 CD .......

Don't know what you mean by "double up" on power. I think you mean you want the receiver to drive only the center and surround speakers. This is exactly my setup. Look for a receiver that has pre-amp .......

1. Remember, there is not a seperate "LFE" channel which is why it's "5.1" channels and not "6". It depends on how your receiver wants to handle a situation w/o a sub, but probably your assumption is .......
