HiFi-Tuning and AMR fuses at least, the only two I've tried, have a tendency to blow more often than stock fuses. When I questioned John at The Cable Company about this, he said that HiFi-Tuning fuses .......

I used them in a preamp and thought they were okay. My favorite 7308 was made by Amperex. I thought the Sylvania was less refined sounding than the Amperex but still a good sounding tube. Always comes .......

Not with Maggies but I did use them for a while with Quad ESL-989 speakers. Unless Roger's changed his formulation, he uses Mogami 3082 coaxial wire. The speaker cables were okay in my opinion but not .......

I received a single 30mm size sample and tried it on my Oppo 95's mains/IEC connection. It seems to work best, at least in my system, on the top casework just slightly off center of the IEC inlet. Als .......

Although I've never heard them paired myself, ESL's are supposed to mate very well with Atma-Sphere. And if the midrange is critical to you, electrostats are the reference for this part of the frequen .......

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the CA-200 is what Lew Johnson had/has in his home system. That's a pretty strong recommendation too. .......

I haven't tried any other aftermarket fuses other than the HiFi-Tuning brand. At those prices, the Gold fuses are hard to resist. My impression is that the Supreme fuses are a little more neutral than .......

It's probably not very clear, but it's the best I could do. If you look at the space on the bottom-left of the tube, you might be able to discern a "56' in the picture. That's what I was referring to. .......

The tubes do have a seamed top which is characteristic of Siemens, but also of Amperex, too. The perplexing part is the Heerlen plant code. Whatever they are, they sound very good. .......

Not that I can see on either of them. One has a partial trailing character on the upper line which looks like the bottom half of a "3" or a "5". A "3" could be a very early D-getter 6922 or a double-s .......

Although labelled GE, the manufacturer's codes are for the Amperex Heerlen plant: Δ2H3 and the other is Δ2H4 (3rd and 4th week of August, 1972). They have the typical Amperex four seamed top .......
