The left channel in my Muse amp shorted out and I had it repaired but the right channel gets hot but the left (repaired channel) gets barely warm. Can someone explain this? Thanks, Jimbarr ::: TOPIC:: .......

I agree with you on Rat Shack tape, not long ago on ebay a guy was selling sealed rat shack tape, I bought some, didn't get half way through trying to tape one tape it completely clogged up the heads .......

Same thing happened to me with my Teac X-10R Turned out to be the pinch rollers. Sent them up to Sparta Mich. to Terry Witt at www.terrysrubberrollers.com haven't had a problem since. He also rebuilt .......

After playing a cassette up to around 1200 an the counter it'll stop, I take the tape out and the tape has a loop down on the right side. I've cleaned and demag the machine several times but it still .......

Make sure you don't have wires crossed some place. Not long ago I had the same problem and I found I had my speaker wires crossed. .......

Looking at the strip where you connect your tonearm and output wires, the first connector strip to the right when you have your TT tilted up and power and other wires coming out the bottom is the one .......

Colin when I first hooked this TT up I was having a ground problem and I ran a ground wire as per instruction manual and it curred the noise in the speakers but not the pop. Jim .......

I believe "digitally recorded" means the source, like with a dat machine. It has to be converted to analog before being pressed to vinyl. I don't believe there's any such thing as a digital LP. ::: TO .......

My owners manuel for my AR ES1 says clean belt with methyl alcohol, but I'm inclined not to do this since you absolutly do not use alcohol to clean pinch rollers on tape decks since it will cause them .......

I believe you should always turn your pre-amp on first, then your amp, turning off, amp then pre-amp, you must be kinda Green at this Lantern. Just trying to help. .......

You are right, my dealer was told by Wendel they are supposed to be stapled and glued, he also said a few,during a short period of time, must have slipped through not done right because I'm not the on .......
