I second the Horn Shoppe Horns!! They are one of the most musical speakers I have heard at any price and also one of the biggest bargains in audio. The Ohm Micro Talls are also quite good with a more .......

You could get your Rogue 99 upgraded as well as repaired. Mark is flexible and I know someone who had Mundorf Silver/Gold oil caps put into his Rogue 99 Magnum to great effect. .......

I am sure they are very fine speakers, but they do cost over 4k and one could pick up a nice used pair of Spendor Sp 1/2's for $1500. or less so I was wondering if the Stirlings are that much better? .......

I believe Rogue was using the Apollo monoblocks, but they did sound terrific with the Eggleston Works Andra 3's. I believe Rogue is very under appreciated and I wish I discovered them a long time ago .......

I totally agree the Guru QM 10's were amazing. They had terrific bass for such a small speaker and were overall very musical and enjoyable. They even sounded great with my Frank Sintra CD, great sing .......

I agree with Anthem the Spendors are great speakers. I used to own the SP 1/2's and they have a magical midrange. I also recommend the Castle Classic line which can be had for large discounts now sin .......

Perhaps a better idea would be to keep the Castle Stirlings and to get a different integrated amp. I have found the Castle Stirling 3's to have an excellent midrange and work very well with tubes. :: .......
