PSA has a free 30 day trial for most all of their products. The transport will be out in Sept and there is a waiting list which could affect units available for the 30 day trial. They might take the M .......

Mine was used between a Theta Data Basic II and a GenVa. Never had a delay in many years of use. Perhaps it is an interaction with your player. You could try with other transport/DAC combos. ::: TOPIC .......

There are some really bad sound quality VDGG cd's out there, some just poorly done and/or from lousy sources. If you don't mind spending a little more, get 'The Box'. Remastered from the original tape .......

For me, probably the most positive upgrade I've made. IMO very cost effective. It takes a while to break in (300-400 hrs), but during that time it mostly sounds very good with occasional rough spots. .......

Another big improvement is with Alan Maher's AC devices. Try the Infinity circuit breaker filter ($25) on the service entrance cable just before the main breaker. It's as good as the R1s in my system. .......

I have R1s and PPPs in my system, but the only comparison I've done is for a bass amp. The freq range is 16 to 70Hz. The bass is tighter and a shade better defined with the PPP; the R1 is a bit softer .......

I'm not sure which of the three units you are referring to. The VMPS does have a volume control and the Townshend has a switch that covers the sensitivity range of 80 dB to 110 dB. I don't know about .......

Hi Bill, I used the KSA 200 (model prior to the 250) on the Infinity Beta woofers and did not have that problem with bass transients even at high volume. The Beta Xover has a gain switch for matching .......

I had wondered about wrapping vs parallel in terms of the quality of the connection. Parallel is easier to solder and a better solder joint should give a better connection. Thanks, Jerry .......
