Quicksilver V4 sounds great and is very stable. The VTL and CJ units also sound great. They are less stable then the Quickie, but they have good circuit protection using B+/rail fuses. Regards, Jerry .......

The Scout/Memorial arm is a hell of a combo for the $$$. Cartridges that work real fine with this unit are the Grado "wood bodies" and the Dyna's. Regards, Jerry O. .......

In a small to medium sized room keeping peaks under 100 db's, I'd say the McCormack is just adequate. However, the more power the better. I've been through Sequals, Aerius's, and SL'3s; and, numerous .......

I purchase a pair awhile back...the store was having a special, around $125 for a new pair. They are the best sounding most comfortable phones I've ever had the pleasure to listen to under a grand. Ch .......

Slowly but surely as I make system changes I push the WAF limit. Component colors and finishes change, I throw in tube amps now and then (with and w/out the cages), and speakers get larger and slowly .......
