If you hold the arm tube in your fingers and pull/push lightly, the arm should NOT move back and forth. If you roll the arm tube of raise it up, it can move (due to the knife edge bearing not attached .......

i discovered and have been using Swiffer Duster for a few years now. It works better and doesnt create any extra static (if there is..use use ur static gun). It cleans the surface dust really well! :: .......

First, the SME 3009 Series II Non-Improved has 12.5gr. effective mass, not 6.5gr. So with cartridge+ mounting hardware of 7.1 gr, the totall mass would be 19.6gr. Plug in that calculator, you get 10.5 .......

Hi Fini, The plinth is constructed of layes of Baltic Birch (which is very preferable for plinth material). The inside of the plinth, as you see in the picture, is cut out so it only leaves eneough .......

In my sytem I dont have rumble problem with all of my 3 Thorens 124. To hear any at all, I have to use a headphone and crank up the volume real loud. But it's mostly drown once the music starts, even .......

My tonearm is specified with the Overhang = 17.24mm. Does that mean if i align the cartridge correctly (ie. using DB 2 null points method), this amount of Overhang will be automatically achieved??? If .......

Hi SSer2, Thank you for your contribution. Regarding LPs, I have a VPI 16.5 record cleanning machine and I did try washing this LP twice after i experienced the distorted sibilance...It doesnt change .......

Thanks for your resonse. I dont think my catridge is worn out...yet...It's about 1.5 years old , and have around 400hrs on it. The Vinyl is clean, cuz when i noticed the distortion, i tried to clean t .......
