I had an original Ultra Khan. They are quite different, both physically and sonically. Physically these new cables are very flexible and light. They use silver and copper foils, not ribbons, that are .......

I know they are insanely pricey, but I shopped around and got a great price on the best PC I have ever owned or heard for that matter. The new Electra Glide Epiphany. This damn thing is so smooth, yet .......

Mike, I have a very good dealer for NBS. Email me and I'll tell you the prices I've been getting for my Monitor cables. They are extremely low compared to the "MSRP", extremely. I agree with your plan .......

I've only used and own Monitor 0 and 1 not Omega. Why wouldn't you look to step up to Monitor O? I believe you can get them for about the price of the Omega 1. What I have read about the Omega's is th .......

Do you mean a Meridian 508.24? I recommend you try either the ribbed or smooth-plate Telefunken 12AX7s from the 60's, they are killer tubes. Or if you can find them, Amperex long-plates from the late .......

Maybe some Chinese tubes can resemble certain sonic aspects of NOS, but we all know that the reliability, life-span and possible damage to your equipment is a serious problem with Chinese and Russian .......

I recommend a Sonic Frontiers Power 1. This is a very solidly built amp with high quality parts. At 55 tube watts per channel it is plenty strong compared to the vintage gear. Its also a very good loo .......

I second the vote for Andy at Vintage Tube Services, he is honest, supremely knowledgable and has some of the finest examples of NOS tubes available. .......
