Most modern integrated amps & receivers (integrated amp that also has radio) don't have a phono stage in their preamp section. You can only play CD with them. You cannot hook a turntable up to an amp .......

It has a cartridge and a built-in preamp. Search around for a good price. You should be able to get one for under $200. Also, lpgear.com has an "improved" one for $279 (better mat & cartridge). I don' .......

Yes. I like the way my P3 looks, especially now that it has a clear dustcover. I like simple, modern everything. But I think the coolest looking turntables are the Thorens 160 series, with the flipper .......

I got my copy of the new BLUE today. It's the best I've heard it, too. When I was done with the LP, I put on the CD. I'm listening to it now, and I like the it, too. It's not better -- it's just good .......

I like my P3 very much, but I understand that has a lot to do with the RB300 tonearm. I've never heard the Planar 3 with the Grace tonearm. There are numerous used P3s and Planar 3s on Audiogon right .......
