Having owned a P2 and spent considerable amount of time with a borrowed MMF-5, I would say either save your money for a better table, (something at the VPI level or equivalent), or spend the $500, mor .......

Haven't tried the DL-110, but I have been curious about Denon MCs in general. The two HOMCs I have used on the Technics are the Dynavector 10x5 and the Ortofon MC-3 Turbo. Both are decent, the Dyna ha .......

After a year experimenting with MCs on the 1200, I can honestly say I've some full circle. The "lowly" AT440ML has all the MC detail, tight bass, smooth extended highs, and tracks as good as my old Sh .......

It does seem to track quite well at 2.0 grams. It also does seem quite sensitive to VTA. I will make the assumption at this point that is where I should be expeimenting. Thanks all! j .......

Second the x3-mc on the Technics. Actually detail seems to be one of it's strengths. CAN be a bit bright on some recordings, but tracks very well, (as good as my V-15, which is obviously no slouch in .......

Can't comment about the Garrott, but for the $$$ the Dyna is hard to beat. Big, airy, dynamic sound and still tracks decently, too. .......
