Until relatively recently I had a 7T (completely stock) through a Mcintosh 240 into 1978 Klipschorns (again stock). I recently replaced the 7Y with a Mcintosh C2300 and it is an upgrade. The 7T is now .......

A thought (perhaps an insane one); we are generally quite aware that many electronic components (tube perhaps in particular) require a break in period before they settle in and display their true capa .......

I echo that I have never been impressed by the Mac solid state gear (well built but not sound that 'grabbed' me). The tube gear was always magical however. I always wanted a Mac tube pre-amp and looke .......
