I agree with Ted, your DAC most likely has a sweet spot. My Hilo likes PCM at 24:192 and my Lampi likes DSD128. Download enough different samples of the same thing, or play with up converting software .......

Sorry, my reference to dynamic compensation was referring to the change in force as the needle traverses the album, not the dynamics of off centered discs, warps, wow and flutter, etc. I have mine set .......
