Chris, you couldn't have said it better. I got tired of whole pages of posts dedicated to this sicko. In fact I stopped reading any of the Asylum posts because this guy got so out of hand. I fail to s .......

I found this depends a lot on the speaker being used. I have tended to prefer 8 ohm taps. But again it will depend on your speakers. .......

Pssives work very well with ARC gear due to the 100k input impedance and the .5 volt or so to drive to clipping. Specs may not be exact but close. We have run many passives with ARC gear and always en .......

Hi Chiggy, One thing we found is that the power supply and capacitors etc. make a huge difference in the quality of the sound in transports. If we take one transport from a manufacturer and move up th .......

My point is not to push the AN. It is to state that transports do make a difference. I stated I felt you were wrong in that they don't. I maintain that position. I don't care if it's AN or Audiomecca, .......

I don't believe you actually did any real comparing. If you did you did so with a system that is terribly un revealing, bad DAC, bad ears or all the above. The differences with good transports are eas .......
