Once you pull away the thick felt there is a metal frame, no decorative face plate. Everything on the back of the speaker reads like so. 1. Dome FF H341 6 OHM 39/86 MADE IN NORWAY .......

The pic in the service manual calls it a center spindle assembly so it may be like yours, the picture for the T60 service manual looks like the same thing. That makes one less thing I have to worry ab .......

Started off with 2 channels, then I gave the 5.1 stuff a try for a few months. I am now back using 2 channels with the addition of a sub-woofer. I am finished with the multi-channel systems, 2 channel .......

I have had the Ortofon OM10 super which I enjoyed very much. Very neutral, natural, relaxed sounding cartridge. Also the Ortofon 2M Red. The red seems a little "brighter",maybe a better description wo .......

I have a 60+ pound piece of 1/2" glass plate on top of my stereo cabinet, I just put 4 blocks under my DVD player and amplifier with no rocking. With the 60 pound glass and the other 75lbs. or so the .......

Its certainly the strongest and fastest to dry,I use it for a lot of things right before I paint them, as long as it is something that won't react or melt. I sometimes have to dye an interior part and .......

In my other place I used the MMG's as you just described they were almost against the wall when I had the TV on, comapred to the TV speakers they were mega better no matter where they were placed and .......

I have used alcohol many many many times and Never had any problems with CD players or DVD players , if your not a ham fisted drunken hillbilly using a bottle of cheap wine as a cleaning agent,your go .......

They do pretty good considering there are few adhesives that really stick to Mylar (Polyester) film well . Could be worse it could be Polypropylene :^) .......

3M nf Water Based neutral color contact cement I got it at Grainger for $41.65 Qt. and it will spray out of the gun as it comes out of the bottle. I sprayed a light coat over half , let tack well , la .......

The Miloxane is no longer used, 30nf is used it is water based and it sprays on smooth as paint I sprayed a light coat on the Mylar , let it setup a while , then laid the wire in place. let it dry , t .......

You don't get any "depth" with Aluminum , Titanium or Stainless. Plastic gets scratched and hazy just from cleaning with a cloth, glass does not. And mainly it just looks pretty cool ....... ::: TOPIC .......

Your looking at the metal protector strip. If you zoom way in at the bottom of the photo, you can just see how it overlaps a little and sticks out past the tweeter element. .......

That's what I would afraid of, changes you can't reverse. The panels being tacky wouldn't really bother me , it doesn't seem to make any difference in performance. I guess it's a feel good fix :^) ::: .......

Seems to me the Krylon method is just covering the problem with a film of yet another product. Never a good way to fix something OMHO. I saw things like that so many times as an auto painter. Shortcut .......
