The lower end models up to the 502 are made in China. All the SP models and from 7x up are Scotland .......

I have an odd room and my setup is diagonal and far from optimal but I get great sound off axis as well as in the sweet spot. I am sure if I had a normal room they would be even better. Big in the roo .......

I don't have personal experience with that unit, but I am going to guess that you go thru regular light bulbs with that voltage. My house is the opposite and my APC regulates it. Over Voltage is kille .......

I have a 555 in my bedroom mainly because I just didn't want a 6th stereo setup in the house. I also have an old sub hooked to it and it can rock out and bring decent sound from movies. Good choice fo .......

My power supply went without warning. The unit was in the mix for years. I took it out of the system for a year or so and when plugging back in it was dead. The Relay or whatever is stuck in the open .......

My HarmanKardon has a sep remote for zone two but you may just need an extender for use from other room. Some units come with one. It does use two of the channels so if your using unit for 5.1 in one .......

Turns out my wife did close the drawer once a day before the problem started. If that is the case, this is the first unit CDP or DVD drive I have seen that does not allow for closing by pushing gently .......
