I'd recommend doing the entire panels. I did my MG2.5R's and it took four packs of VMAX. I made a gig similar to johnvb's. Your cuts will come out much nicer and it goes much quicker as I did my MG2.5 .......

Yep, my ribbons are naked as I have no grill cloth over mine. They dance with the music. I wish Magnepan had a way to glue both ribbons in the exact same spots as my shimmering is not exactly uniform .......

My bet is that your issue is with speaker positioning. Not knowing how big your room is or where your MMG’s are currently positioned, I would start but towing them in a bit and using the Cardas formul .......
