Absolutely I'm up to it, if it makes sense. I've already upgraded the xovrs, with premium parts. I hesitate to wire directly to the terminals because all modification must be completely reversible. :: .......

Just a guess, but that portion of the disc is also to check out overall system noise. Have you taken a look at your bearings. It seems to me that would be one of the usual suspects. Good luck! ::: TOP .......

I'd agree that better photos are needed. As to whether it's a bonded stylus, I'm not so sure. I don't have the experience of most, but the stylus pictured doesn't resemble the examples of bonded styli .......
