A53, Not that I am the best to ask. Because the 2A3 was always a compromise to me. All the current ones are 300B's with the filament folded in 1/2. 300B 5V@1.2A, fold the filament in half and you get .......

TK, You can't think of it that way and you are correct. White wire would be the feedback point and yes along with the change in switching the feedback would have to change. I did that with a 4 pole 3 .......

All, The JB is LS/FS/HS only. I would not suggest it for SS devices like hard drives. It will only slow things down. I designed this based on testing over 70 USB cables and then the 18 or more USB dac .......

CT, WIFI has always been USB from the start. Heck a lot of computers use WIFI over USB. Most modules have that built in. Your only now seeing PCIe WIFI modules with some high speed AC support. In PI 1 .......

CT First you have to go Ethernet to stream and with the RPI only the model 4 has integrated Ethernet. All the others use USB for Ethernet and WIFI and if your using a USB DAC then all crap happens bec .......

Robert, With SE output you can't really take the A+ and send that too the output. You need a PI filter with a good choke. So basically move everything past the output of the 5Y3 one step and add a nic .......

You will need gain into the 45 as the 845 really needs to see some voltage to get it started. My first commercial SET was the Sole 5691->300B->845. It was big and heavy but man did it drive anything. .......

All, The top and bottom end of any transformer coupling will suffer with high Rp. The max primary that I have used is 15K and usually with that the Rp is usually down in the 2-3K area. 5K would be bet .......

BSH, It still upsampled! That is how Amazon does it's data flow control. Depending on network and so forth Amazon doesn't care the data is not bit true as they use the resampling as part of their flow .......

Jim, If you are on the basic Tidal then you are streaming MP3 files which won't compare to the a CD in quality. If you are on HIFI then that is CD quality. But if you are on Masters then you can excee .......

JC, Really the NOS tubes are the best. The EML don't even meet the specifications of the 45. They don't support the wattage or the input impedance. Plus the mesh plates tend to arc over and kill amps. .......

Ok, First off, remember a class a amp operates full with 0Vac input. So yes bias the 300B at 60ma. You don't need to worry about the AC-PP current as that is not an issue. Remember class A 0Vac input .......

Fly, My preamp has transformers and goes -1dB at 7Hz and 93KHz. My DAC actually goes about the same but I limit it to 50KHz so the noise doesn't get into the system. My amps are good from -1dB from 11 .......

Mike, If your dac is USB and your storage is USB then the low level drivers are going to be fighting a bunch. Really the only way to get around that is using software that loads everything into memory .......

Abe, But here's the problem with RAM drives. All these audio programs use freaken tons of Virtual Memory. If you limit the usage to 6G with a 10G ram drive then it will start caching to disk VM stuff .......

CM, I use the QB9 with a ASUS netbook all the time. It has the Win 7 home premium on it and I never had a problem. I also used their new QA9 as well and it worked fine. I have one of these on my bench .......

Joe, Remember this is changing on a weekly basis. I have never gotten over 48K on the iPad to work. Now that may change on IOS 4.3. When used with 24 bit dacs the IOS will padd 16 bit data to 24 bit .......

Fvale, In my experience this is a bad place for these. Since they are not shielded and even when I have they pick up way too much noise which when amplified over many stages ends up in big time noise .......

Phil, At 24/96 you will see data errors with anything longer than 3M on any Full Speed TAS1020 implementation. Since Isosynchronous is not error recovery that means those errors go right to the dac. N .......

Joe, Basically there are a number of things wrong here. First on the primary grounding the center tap will mean that current will flow through the primary which can be a bad thing for the dac chip and .......
