Another option is to forgo adapters and upgrade the output terminals. I have done a number of upgrades where I replaced one-way/two-way posts and push-in terminals with 5-way posts. See the following .......

Yes, sounds like the memory caps needs replacement. I replaced the memory cap in my Marantz SR-19 AVR earlier this year, and that solved the isssue of losing all of my settings, including input option .......

IMO, if the amp originally had a two-wire cord and you add an IEC connector, you should omit the ground. You should be fine turning on a solid state amp without a load. Yes, tube amps are a different .......

Yes, some components just don't seem to like balanced power. I would say look at the EMI/RFI filters used to isolate outlet banks in some of the factory-built balanced power units as possible culprits .......

Could the problem be with the source component ? If you are handy with a soldering iron and basic tools, try rigging up a short cable assembly for each channel with RCA male/female and a cap. Insert b .......

BA97, you still seem to have some uncertainty. To second what Al said, the reverb amp and EQ will work just fine in a tape monitor loop (or processor loop). It will also work as well between separate .......

I have had outstanding results with the Equi=Tech "Q" type balanced isolation transformer. No audible mechanical noise under extreme conditions. .......
