The preamp is working now. It has two phono inputs, one of which seems not to be working. I tightened up shields on all the RCA connections going into the pre and am able to get audio now from Phono 2 .......

Most RCA connectors have longitudinal slits that can be squeezed together or pried apart better to fit the shields on the sockets. You could ask this of Cardas also. .......

As far as I know, the 15" woofers Klipsch used in the K-horn, LaScala and Cornwall used pleated cloth surrounds, not foam that may rot over time. If the woofers are original, I doubt they would have f .......
