The Mac is plug and play. I bought it, brought it home, ripped some music, and started playing within 10 minutes. Since I prefer Itunes it only made sense. Now I'm waiting for my Ipod touch to remote .......

I went the same route this year, upgrading my MMF-5 to a KABUSA 1210M5G. Regardless that it sounds much better than the MMF-5, its simply more fun to use. You will not regret buying a KAB modded Techn .......

Although I did not get a chance to do a side by side comparison, I can tell you that the difference is far from subtle. The KAB 1210 has a much fuller sound. I had always thought that the MMF was thin .......

I traded my MMF-5 for a KAB 1210 M5GSE with the external power supply, strobe disabler, tonearm re-wire, and fluid damper. I put a Benz Micro MC20E HO cart on it (which I'll be replacing). I couldn't .......

Nope. You will use it. Since I buy so much used vinyl, sometimes I forget that I have clean vinyl that I can listen to anytime! It is an essential purchase. And mine is the less expensive Nitty Gritty .......

I live in Tucson and go there often. There prices have gone up since the change in owners and they don't do as much quality control. Other than that, the place is a blast! I have at least 6 places I g .......

I did do a McIntosh search, and I didn't come to any solid conclusion one way or the other. I'm probably going to go with a MA6900 that has the autoformers, unless I'm strongly persuaded otherwise. BT .......
