remember there is no ground. We don't exactly know what is connected where at the phono cartridge so the safe way is to swap the polarity (phase) at one of the RCAs. But it is the same result. ::: TOP .......

although it does list 70mv on the ARC website it is obviously 7mV not 70. The rated output is 0.5V which makes sense if the input is 7mV at 57dB gain which results in 494mV or 0.5V. But a 20dB step up .......

Not only did you match the cartridge you also more or less matched the secondary impedance of the transformer. Most transformers used for MCs have a very high secondary impedance about 50K. Good work! .......
