my other analog friends have tried commercial lifters and they are nowhere as smooth, reliable and easy to install as this one. i'll try to shoot a video and share it here. .......

the TonaL (that's what my friend calls it now) avoids that jerk at the end. it has a trigger that smoothly activates the lift of the arm. i hope i can take a video of it in action and share it here... .......

jmc, the magnet is on the lifter not on the arm. my arm is carbon fibre so a very tiny metal disc was put atop the arm secured by a 3M double-backing tape! :-) it works great... .......

a friend custom-made this lifter and installed it on my clearaudio table with the clearaudio unipivot unify arm. took him less than 10 minutes to set-up. the lifter works flawlessly, very smooth opera .......

I don't have the schematics either, but there is a bias adjustment on the chassis which changes the voltage on the 4 plates. When I got it it was reading about 30v across all the plates of the 7591 co .......

they are good sonically, but realiability is bad i ordered a quad from triodeel and one went bad. luckily, uncle ned quickly shipped a replacement tube. unfortunately, the replacement also died within .......

That's right, I hooked the caps in series so I have effectively 23.5uf/900v in the first section (before the choke) and 50uf/700v after the choke. The second cap was also bypassed with 3.3uf Solen. Th .......

I have the Welborne Labs as well, and I agree with the comments of twystd. I have listened/auditioned at least 5 different ST70 boards excluding the stock and to my ears, Welborne is ahead in dynamics .......
