I just recently upgraded from an old Sumiko BPS-III to a Benz Ace. We put the old BPS-III which probably had 300+ hours under the microscope. Hardly any wear at all... I use Stylast religiously and LA .......

I have used netgear and d-link routers with my original squeezebox. To play it safe, the trick is to make sure that all the devices are 'statically assigned' and not DHCP. You'll have to 'statically' .......

Actually... I don't think it was modified. I was comparing it to the mk-III version of the preamp which doesn't have an IEC socket and nice connectors like the mk-IV. Regardless.... it sounds damn goo .......

This is how I solved the problem. It worked with my Ariston which had a slightly higher speed. * Find the thinnest vinyl electrical tape you can get. * Take note on where you start and gradually wrap .......

I have found that LAST preservative and STYLAST actually improve the sound a bit too. It is like needle-lube. Keeps the friction low, thus the heat related deformation is reduced. Less friction means .......

I love my 3910.... I put it head to head with the 2910 at the dealer. The 3910 had much better imaging and delivered a fantastic soundstage. I think the DACs are much more linear and sounded more 'ana .......

I migrated from the Stereophile Class B rated Denon 1650ar to the Denon 3910 (SACD/CD/DVD-A) player. Even though the 1650ar appeared to have better construction (damped tray, huge power supply, etc..) .......

Very dissapointing indeed..... So this isn't the forum for it, but have you heard any of the Mode SACD remasters? They sound fantastic. Hi-bit rate media for 8 bit Moog sound. .......

I own both the CD and DVD-A of Playing the Angel. On both, many of the tracks sound distorted and oversaturated. It is really unfortunate since it is an outstanding album. Recorded in Santa Barbara, C .......

Thanks for your advice. I didn't think of the drum effect. It is an old house with thick plaster so I figured there would be plenty of damping. I can probably screw in the left two screws in a stud. C .......

Thanks for your response. I own 'Live at Fillmore' as well and I think "Massey Hall" has the same type of output. There is much more video footage on MH, however. So your 2910 will output 24/96 throug .......

I picked up all three last week. They sound very very good.... It is interesting however that we're utilizing high bit rate samples for, essentially, 8-bit sound. Regardless.... the deluxe edition has .......
