Good question. No tje arm seems fine Thought a more modern arm would be an improvement and would mate better with a wider variety of cartridges but I could be influenced otherwise. How does one settle .......

I own a Thorens TD 126 MK II stock Thorens arm and Dynavector 10x5 cartridge. The table is in need of some TLC ...the motor is noisy, so is the bearing, the belt slips off on startup from time to time .......

Unfortunately the Pioneer machine I have will not record onto data CD-Rs, so I have to use a "music" CD-R (or CD-RW) which are rather expensive. Hence the re-using of the music CD-RW. On a rare occas .......

I love this album but the pressing quality is uneven at best. The first minute or so of the opening track suffers from excessive goove noise, this is repeated again on side 2, but not as bad. Thankful .......

I've had very good luck with Thrill Jockey vinyl releases. A very nice roster of bands the favorite of mine is Eleventh Dream Day. The Sea and Cake also has some very good music released on good sound .......

If I read his original post correctly, he was complaining about the seller advertising the price in Australian $. So the posted price of $999 converts to 1/3 less in U.S. $. I just don't see what the .......
