Is the Oppo BDP-95 really that bad for 2 channel listening? I was looking to get one in a couple of months, as I would like an SACD player. The other caveat is that I would like it to play HDCD as wel .......

I have a dealer in NJ. You may be right about the Benz company, but I'm just reiterating what the US distributor for Benz told me yesterday. He also said that they haven't received one shipment of Ace .......

Hey Folks, Some of you might have seen some of my earlier posts about my backordered Benz Micro Ace. After speaking with the US distributor of Benz, I feel like I won't be getting the cartridge anytim .......

Is there that much of a difference? My copy is the Harvest edition with the gatefold cover and ID number SMAS-832. As far as I can see it came out at the exact time as the UK pressing. .......

I was lucky enough to find a US/Canadian first pressing of Pink Floyd's Meddle this weekend for the whopping sum of $10!! The cover was ok, but the record was very, very good. It was a little dirty, b .......

I'm not sure if the Ares phono stage and the Cronus' stage are similar. The problem I'm having is that there is a lack of transparency. It sounds rather veiled and dynamics are just okay. When I was a .......

No offense taken. I just didn't want to come across as someone who spends my every last dime on audio equipment. In my younger years, I would have probably already spent the $1800 on a brand new Ear 8 .......

Interesting, so basically the Cronus' stage is on par with the more budget minded phono stages I listed? That's definitely food for thought. I would say right now, the two I'm most leaning towards is .......
