It's actually buzzed for a while now, it's nothing new, I've just been ignoring it. It seems to have gotten slightly worse though now that they are being used again. I think it's a mid panel lift... t .......

the digital line out readings off the SBT's linux system all say that it is in fact 192/24 I'm going to go with option 2 and say mine is different for some reason. .......

just that it played period. I was assuming after I learned the SBT doesn't do 192 without modding that it was just down sampling the file to 24/96. But I'm seriously not lying when I'm saying that pr .......

I never got the pop-up that you did. After EDO was installed, husband hacked into the SBT's linux system (he's a software engineer) and you can get bit stream out of the coax or whatever you'd want to .......

I'm assuming they were downsampled to 24/96. So I was able to listen to the same 24/192 file pretty much back to back. If you google and poke around on some other forums there are waves of people and .......

The 500Ms were good... really good... in a lot of areas. Bottom end for one (the V5 is a bit light in the bass) and imaging and PRAT. but then I'd switch back to the Ayre and found what seemed like de .......

I've had my V5Xe for a long time and I've always loved it. It was in for a repair for a couple of weeks though and I've had a pair of Bel Canto REF500M monoblocks. My husband likes their sound better. .......

I've currently an Ayre V5Xe that is in for repair and the dealer let me borrow a Bel Canto S300. Now, in a lot of ways it doesn't come close to matching the Ayre, but in many ways it also injects a lo .......

fuses VH audio has the furutech, isoclean and hifi tunings VH audio fuses cryoparts and acme audio also have fuses but I'm not sure the brand on those. .......

The Oyaide is a bit too expensive for me.... but furutech has a carbon and brass cover and Acme has a really beautiful Ebony wood cover... then there's all the other various plastic, stainless, brass, .......

there are several people on both forums (here and audiogon) that prefer the teslaplex over the oyaide... but I think we all have systems mostly cabled with synergistic cables. .......

When I moved in 2 years ago this was something I pointed out. The outlets in the master bath are not GFI outlets. The hall bath does have a GFI outlet I believe, but it's on a different circuit... the .......

When I got my CX7 back from the upgrade I immediately contacted Ayre about the issue and kept in contact with them generally on an almost weekly basis. I pointed them to threads on the asylum showing .......

curious as to how heavy and flexible the PAD cables are in comparison. My VD masters are ungodly stiff and have to be 'pre-bent' and then manhandled into place. They are also so heavy they are pulling .......

Mine came with a perfectly good, albeit black plastic, remote. Has all the standard CD controls plus #'s for going straight to that favorite song plus pre-amp controls (that also work with the AX-7e) .......

Your AX7 will sound perfectly fine and right using RCA connections. Just use cables that complement the electronics, just like you would with any other system. While it does sound better with full bal .......

it's a beautiful match. I used Golden Presence cables and Golden PCs as I have a less than perfect room and alot of less than perfect recordings and the Presence cables aren't as critical as the Refr .......

errrr not switch it out of balanced (it didn't have balanced inputs) but I'd always accidently hit the mono button. Now I've got the rack pulled away from the wall enough I can squeeze back there and .......

at least.. I sent my CX7 in for the upgrade. My V5Xe had just been upgraded 3 weeks before I purchased it, and my K5Xe is an original evolution. It's been so long since I've heard all three together p .......

How do you put it in standby mode without the remote? or is that not possible? I tried the standby button in the preamp section of my CX7e's remote but it doesn't work and I don't have the original pr .......

with very high marks (1.6s were listed Class B limited for 4 years I believe) but after a certain period of time if a product isn't retested then it gets dropped off the list .......

normally I'd never have my maggies in a corner... my previous room was a dedicated room and they were about 4ft from the back wall and 3 ft from the side wall... Now they are temporarily setup in my b .......
