I always employ the Zerostat last. Not first. After using carbon fibre brush. Generally works well. Not perfect. But sometimes static fields aren't limited to only record/platter. Carpet, chair, etc. .......

That of course would be per the couple of eBay sellers I've seen. Difference somewhat larger on AudioCubes site (ANV pricing includes headshell). But I don't see any way for you to lose gain (checked .......

And tubing, only in larger diameters (2"). I've been looking at carbon arrows (and shafts) on the Bay, for my unipivot. Which are generally around 1/4" O.D.. Possibly seems small for an extreme design .......
