And it's very good. Its character depends on which type of 6922 tubes your use. I don't use my dynamic phones very often so the Lyr2 just sits collecting dust...most of the time. I mostly use my Stax .......

The phono preamp circuitry amplifies the signal from your cartridge a LOT. In the case of LOMC cartridges we could be talking thousands of times the input signal. I hope your problem is simple but man .......

Peter explains it quite well. You can adjust it to 92 degrees to begin with but you have to finish the optimum setup by setting the adjustment by ear. And then that setting is only optimum for the LP .......

I would try adjusting the arm height to adjust the VTA/SRA. If the sound is too strident and harsh in the high frequencies then the arm height is too high. If that is what you are hearing then try low .......
