You are talking two different speakers, I can tell you a few Quad owners I know have the Spatial's and said it is the only speaker they could live with after Quads. One sold theirs as I did. The Quads .......

Yes, 3" made a difference in my room, I've read where others have them 5' for best bass. Every room is different. 30" I liked a lot but I think the imaging was better at 33". Being new to these speake .......

I don't find my Ultra's rolled off at all, as far as bass goes, deep, quick with refined mid-bass and great midrange reproduction. I think rooms have a big impact on sound though. Maybe older Transpar .......

I just ordered 2 sets of Ultra MM2 balanced I.C. I cannot image if they will sound as good as the Ultra MM2 speaker cables do. I just had to try to run all MM2 from the front end to the speakers. ::: .......

I did match the front end power cords with the HT's. I've tried many others there and nothing gets close to the HT Horizon Magic power cords. Clarus on the amp has been a match in haven, a follow McIn .......

What settings do you use. I like s-d-l 1 with no upsampling. Great dynamics and body with a very natural sound, I also like 2X on Jazz, and 4X also on some discs. I know many use 4X S-D-L 2 but to me .......

The less conversation the better. Try it ORG with Sdly-1 I even like it with both filters off. But ORG is like many believe upsampling does not sound as good, 2X I can live with thus far. .......

We I have to come to a conclusion after listening to many CD's and well recorded ones that I do not like the up sampling I like much better ORG. You lose detail and dynamics, almost like a film around .......

The remasters SACD's were done with DCS equipment which to my ear always sounds clean and towards bright lacking some warmth, so this is how the CD's would come out. This is why it is useless to disc .......

The Sylvania 5751 are gray plates 3 mica. They image great, great width and depth but really lack body makes my tube preamp sound like solid state without the body, on dark recordings though really .......

The PS Audio Premier cord was very good though expensive. It kills the AC12 and what I found good about it, it was open, great dynamics, and details were excellent, very low noise and good bottom end. .......

I would agree. Very low noise, very balanced like the Porter, leaves the meat on the bones, but much more transparent. If you only using one, wait till have it powering up all your gear. I still like .......

Try the Maestro outlet. I just installed it 3 days ago and it really was an eye opener. Does not hype of the mids and highs, just lowers the noise floor and no leanness that I experienced from others .......

Outlets settled in about 3 days. They are excellent. I just wwitched to my NOS, 12AX7 Brimar tube for my line stage and all I can say is wow! Weight, tones, and musical as all get out. The outlet do .......

Good improvement today. May be a keeper, more transparent, but no edge either, sound stage is wider, bass is cleaner, vocals have more detail and air. It's like a Porter but better in many areas is ho .......

Received the outlet yesterday. Chris told me to give it 8 hours to settle in. They burn in the outlet for two weeks. I can say it is not tip up like the R1 or DX, it is very open, quick, good overton .......

Same results I had with my video system. Pangea throughout, excellent results, on my powered sub, the room pressurizes now with Pangea AC9 on it. A bear to burn in though, but really no reason to spen .......

Just make sure you try the male ac flip, a lot of SCD1 sounded much much better with the ac male plug flipped. Just use a cheater plug with both prongs the same, it will take you a few minutes to find .......

They will open up. In my video system they work great, even on my sub-woofer after a month, never felt a room pressurize like the sub does now. My Plasma TV, DVD player all use the AC9 with no sound .......

AC9 works fine with my Pioneer Plasma Elite. The IEC fits so tight that the connector being right under the tv I am having no problem with it coming loose due to the weight, though I have a nice two m .......

It can be done, but only for so long. Best advise I heard was no more that 30 seconds of a track, then listen to it several times and note things that you hear that stick out to you, perhaps dynamics .......

They other four tubes are LP 1957...I just tried them this week, after a few days they really setteled in...your right musical and just superb sounding. I think I will keep them...they do sound better .......

I thing about the SCD1 is that you have to flip the polarity on the ac plug. Then the sound is outstanding. This was passed on to me years ago by John Curl or his partner who passed away I can't remem .......

Cannot agree about the Marantz SA7-S1 in my experience it is transparent and musical. Using filter 2 you hear very detailed sound almost to much detail but for well recorded jazz god sent. If anyone .......

That is strange. In my McIntosh C2300...clear as a bell, tight bass, and detail in the mid-range that is just outstanding. In fact I miss the bloom of the 12AX7. He is a picture of the tubes. ::: .......

What is the basic sonic difference between a 5751 and a 12ax7. Seems to me a 5751 is much cleaner sounding and detailed, yet is lacks some of the warmth and body of a 12ax7. The Seimens ECC83 as a so .......

I have several brands now of NOS 12AX7's. I just picked up some RCA 5751 black plates. They seem to have a much cleaner and clearer sound, tight if not a bit lighter in the mid bass, and a very clean .......

They work well with tubes and solid state equipment which I own a mix of and cd/SACD players. This is one excellent all around power cord. IMHO if you want to hear what your gear can do with cords are .......

The Tung Sols with gold pins really floored me. Beat many of my NOS. I still like my one set of TFK's. Better in some ways, but I have to tell you the truth for the money the Tung Sols are outstanding .......

The mid-range is great on the tele's the bottom end is fat though and a touch slow, I like the highs also but a bit rolled off. The bottom end bothers me the most after trying a few other tubes. I tr .......

Your are so correct. I checked with my seller. They were designed with ulta low noise use and these rare tubes were red tipped at the top of the tube. He had several over the years stored away and for .......
