John, if you're still using your DL-103R, try a used Bottlehead Seduction (preferably with the C4S mod) and a 150 ohm 1:18 SUT (like the Cinemag 3440A). Wonderful combination, and not a lot of money. .......

Ditto. I bought the T2 from Vann's for the same price as Mick. The speaker level connection (thru REL's 'Speakon' connector) works really well, although these units don't have the fine level adjustmen .......

Thanks for all of the suggestions. As for a wall shelf, its a really good idea, but probably doesn't work for my system. The speakers are MMG's, and they are about 5' from the front wall and 6' to 7' .......

Just got back from auditioning the new MMG's with the Brio-R. Amazing! Superb, in fact. Big room, little amp, power-hungry speakers, really big sound, incredibly musical and a total of 1500 before tax .......

Well, although I had to wait all day as the dealer played the Brio-R through the new Vandersteen 1c's (not bad at all!), I finally got to hear the new Brio with the new MMG's. Holy cow!! With the volu .......

Hmmm. I had read jeff Dorgay's review of both units in Tone Audio, and notwithstanding his comfort level with the pairing at ordinary listening levels (I'm liberally paraphrasing) wondered about that. .......
