1: Tubes Asylum, My preamp is a modified Bottlehead BeePre (original model) (0.00)

As per subject line, the noise issues discussed are with my modded Bottlehead BeePre (original model). I should emphasize "modded". I rebuilt it with some changes and used a star grounding scheme. It' .......

We are kindred audio spirits :) And I am insanely forgetful: when I rebuilt the Kaiju I installed a 100K adjustable L-pad (voltage divider) as input load/grid resistor. It gives me 0, -6, -9 and -12d .......

Volume attenuator has no effect. After getting the tubes, I did all the usual things to figure out that the hum comes from the preamp, but only with the WE300B tubes. Any other tube: silent. With WE30 .......
