I have a new pair of Audax HT210T0 drivers that I've decided not to use. The mounting holes are 8" on center. I don't know how many mm they are, but if they fit they might be suitable drop in replacem .......

I purchased a matched quad of Winged C EL34s and a matched pair of 6CG7s from boiaudioworks. I was very impressed with the fast delivery and packaging. They also had the best price I found on the EL34 .......

Thanks! I've picked up a couple of balanced Electro-Harmonix. There is no connection from pin 9 to anything inside the tube. .......

Thanks! I think a light bulb finally went off, albeit dim...My Photofact shows pins 5 and 4 as "X" and pin 9 as "Y" from the transformer, with a rating of 6.3V between X & Y. Is this considered parall .......

I'm rebuilding my Fairchild 260 monoblocks and plan to substitute a 6CG7 for the 12AU7 phase splitter. The only difference between it and the 12au7 that it replaces is the heater wiring. The 12AU7 has .......

I'm kinda curious which system inmates would prefer. I estimate that I can buy an MC 240 for somewhere between $1500 and $2K as is. Or, I can buy and have the more powerful MV-75 totally upgraded by B .......
