I have a pair of the ls-400's and love them with my Scott 222 or Sherwood S-8000. The woofers have been doped for more solid bass. With these amps anymore bass would seem too much for me. I would stil .......

The meters show about 50% less and to my ear it sounds that way also. Can set the balance to 9 oclock and then both channels are equal. Same on phono 1 and 2. Same with different turntables. Dave ::: .......

Thanks, I thought I had the controls all cleaned out. No static at all when switching functions and jiggling the controls around. Thought about that preamp switch but all other functions besides phono .......

Bought this 2010 recently, cleaned it up and put it through it's paces. Sound is very good and powerful in class a or ab modes with a cd through aux and a tuner. The phono sounds good, but the left ch .......

I've got a Sherwood 3000 that has great reception, not as good as the Sony HD, it does beat that hands down in sound quality though. I like it's looks and feel. Always wanted to try the 8000 receiver .......

I have mine connected to my Sherwood S-7900A. It's the best tuner I've had, and I've had a bunch. Stations in analog are quiet, reception is incredible and has the bonus of receiving HD signals. Dave .......

Have you tried it. The volume pot is indented and doesn;t move real freely. I don't want to get in there, have it not work and not be able to get it out. thanks, Dave .......

Bought a yamaha ca-2010 on ebay. Volume knob does not have an insert to grab knurled post and just spins freely. Any ideas on a good fix beside epoxy, don't want it stuck on permanently. thanks, Dave .......

I just picked a pair of each of these beasts in very good cosmetic and functional condition. Anyone have the specs or schematics for these. The 18's sound fantastic, the 10's sound a little flat to .......

Just got back into the sound insanity. Been 24 years since the college "daze". Got a pair of SMGa's. Sounded nice but thought bigger may be better with these speakers. Now I have the MG1c's and I thin .......
