What I listed for speakers are ones I have seen and may consider. Yes the Klipsch were horns (knew that) but they were hi eff so I listed them. Room is 320 sq/ft and 2300 cu/ft in size. Partial baseme .......

Not sure what is in your setup, but if your components do any type of low end EQ, your two sub setup will improve. DSpeaker is a company who makes subwoofer EQ devices for two subs. .......

Bought 8 Fiber + 4 Copper switch, Media Converters, GBIC's and Fiber. All of this is Multi-Mode - much cheaper than Single Mode - especially not knowing how much change will occur if any. I stuck with .......

NO, I never checked the temp with fan in Passive mode. OS - Win2012R2 Essentials using Roon. But you can buy the NUC "KIT" which is just the board and it can be installed in another case for "improve .......

I own a Pliny...so it sits in A/B until I want Class A. Amp is on 24/7 in A/B. When I switch to Class A, I have found it takes 45-60 min for the amp to settle. .......

The wires which connect xover box to panel occurs at the bottom of the panel. If wine hit those it could have caused issues with the xover. Panel can be rinsed off believe it or not. Call ML support, .......

From what I remember, the tube does take time to sound its best. In my experience and in my rig, I wait for at least 100 hours before making judgement on the sound of tubes. .......

They first Prodigy came out in 2000. Used market $$$ can get as high as 6-8k depending on condition. The Prodigy has the older stator technology. Best thing is to go back to dealer, get the serial num .......

I have/had tried chokes. Found it really killed the high end too much. And by using them to help cure "digititis" it also affected the upper frequency extremes too much. The two items I found to help .......

Jim Powers no longer works for ML - retired. Talk with Melody now. New woofers are available from ML for Sequel II's - but they are 3db hotter than stock. Just flip the woofer switch to kick back 3db. .......

IMO....If you are going to go with the M8, I would consider the SA-102 (used) or SA-103 new. If volume levels are a concern - HIGH DB's are your thing, then the SB-301 might be a better choice. Class .......

In my system and my room, the JPS FX IC is far superior to the Monster Cable you mention all across the board. But cables are very user and system specific, so try to test them out before purchasing. .......

Right now I would characterize my 2200 as thin and edgy on SACD compared to the 2 channel playback I get with the 2200 + CI Audio DAC. I do not mind clear, detailed sound: ie. controlled strong bass, .......

Have done multiple switching back and forth, from Belden to the Ultras using the same songs (many different types of music and formats) and there is a definite high end zing or acentuation of the high .......

I am using the 17' Ultra's now. Have been happy with the sound and the quality of the connectors on them. Like you said $40 for 3ft and $80 for 17'. Shortly I will get to compare them against the Beld .......

I also use the Xitel, but I just got the Hi-Fi Link (did not need all the other stuff with the Pro Link) to use with Rhapsody (streaming audio). It too uses USB and I found it better than just hooking .......

I have Sequel II's that I BiAmp. The speaker has two sets of binding posts. One for the panel and one for the woofer. The panel crosses over at 250mHz if I am not mistaken. You can also jumper the two .......

I originally purchased a DV-45A. Tried it out for 10 days, and returned it. I then picked up a 2200 and I liked it much better than the 45A and only paid $100 more for the 2200. I still have the 2200 .......
