Most stores don't play grade, and I don't notice more acurate grading from those that do. In fact, when I consign in store I don't assign a grade at all, rather I lower the price for lower grades and .......

I've never even seen one, but have used a CS 5000 for years. It had some qc issues, but it's actual performance is quite excellent (I use an OM 40 cart). Far better than the 1218 I use downstairs. ::: .......

Heavy vinyl is prone to warping off the press, and unfortunately, is often let slip by QC, if they even have such a thing. I buy Classics almost exclusively from The Music.Com, which is Classic's mark .......

Its the thinness that makes them sound like shit. The only poly colored vinyl I know of is splatter vinyl or marbled effects, like on the special pressings of Kate Bush's Hound of Love or on Dave Maso .......
